Khary Robinson – Executive Chairman
Khary Robinson is the Executive Chairman of Norbrook Equity Partners ("NEP"), a holding company that acquires and operates privately owned businesses in emerging and niche markets. Today NEP owns and operates two companies in Jamaica. Prior to NEP, Mr. Robinson held the same title and role and Norbrook Caribbean Investment Company. Since 2008, Mr. Robinson has been responsible for transaction execution, business development, strategy, finance and operations for both organizations for NCIC. Prior to establishing NCIC, Mr. Robinson worked in various industry groups of Investment Banking for Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and Bank of America Securities. During his tenure, he analysed various financial markets, companies and acquisition candidates for corporate clients undertaking financing and M&A transactions.
Mr. Robinson studied economics at Georgetown University and graduated with honours, attaining a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management. He received his MBA from the Wharton School in May 2007, with a major in Finance and Entrepreneurial management. He has also been recognized for his achievements and was awarded the Goldman Sachs Fellowship, the Joseph P. Wharton Fellowship, the Executive Leadership Council award and the Shils-Zeidman Entrepreneurial Fellowship at Wharton. Mr. Robinson is also a member of the Young President Organization (YPO), NextGen network of executives and the Council of Urban Professionals (CUPA).
Duncan Stewart (Stewart's Automotive Group) - NEP
Duncan Stewart is General Manager of Stewart Motors (Mitsubishi and Land Rover dealers) and Director of Stewart’s Auto Sales (Suzuki Motors). Mr. Stewart is also involved in leading related family businesses Stewart’s Auto Paints Limited, Tropic Island Trading Company Limited (Budget Car Rental) and Silver Star Motors Limited (Mercedes Benz dealer).
Mr. Stewart joined as a 3rd generation member after graduating from McGill University with a B.Eng. (Mech). Mr. Stewart is also a director of General Accident Insurance Company Ltd, the Automobile Dealers Association and the Richard and Diana Stewart Foundation. He is also a sponsor of the family charity, Kind Hearts, which is run by his children and their cousins. Mr. Stewart is also a Founding Member of YPO Jamaica and a current member of WPO Jamaica.
Nick has over 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur, working with growing businesses and providing financial service solutions to companies. Nick is the Managing Partner of Jacmel Growth Partners, an investing firm comprised of operating executives, investors and entrepreneurs looking to create long-term value for existing entrepreneurs and shareholders.
Prior to founding Jacmel Growth Partners in 2015, Nick was a Principal at Peterson Partners ($1B AUM growth private equity shop based in Salt Lake City, UT). During Nick’s tenure at Peterson Partners, he sourced and led diligence on 50+ opportunities across a wide range of industries, including BPOs, credit card processing, kiosk services, oil & gas service providers and telecom services. Nick also led Peterson’s investments in Si Senor (leading Tex Mex chain of restaurants in Brazil), DCI (leading voice and data service provider to luxury hotels) and PEC (leading safety service provider to the oil & gas industry).
Prior to joining Peterson Partners in 2013, Nick was a Vice President with Macquarie Capital (USA) Inc., in New York City, where he provided strategic advisory services and capital market solutions to private equity clients. Nick began his career on Wall Street with Citigroup’s Investment Banking Division in 2007, where he was a member of the investment bank’s Healthcare Coverage Group. During Nick’s tenure on Wall Street, he was part of a successful team that provided debt financing for over $10B of capital for private equity sponsored recapitalizations and was a key member of teams that led 5 public equity offerings.
Garth currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Norbrook Equity Partners Limited. Previously, he was Manager of Investment Banking for NCB Capital Markets Limited, the investment banking arm of the NCB Group, where he was responsible for deal origination and structuring with a focus on private equity and real estate transactions. He joined NCB Capital Markets in 2013 to lead the firm’s regional private equity investment initiative. Prior to joining NCB, Garth was Senior Investment Manager for the Caribbean Investment Fund, L.P., the first pan-Caribbean private equity fund dedicated exclusively to making investments in the CARICOM Region. Garth also worked with Jamaica Producers Group Caribbean snack food business where he managed finance and logistics.

Patrick Evelyn, Chief Financial Officer
Patrick is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of finance and accounting experience. For twelve (12) years, Mr. Evelyn served in the role of Financial Director with Roberts Products Company Limited, where he was involved in strategic planning, new product development and overseeing the company’s Corporate Governance guidelines. He was also responsible for all the accounting, budgetary, treasury functions, taxation and regulatory reporting of the company. He spent some time as Financial Controller for Mid Island Group prior to branching out as an Accounting Consultant. Mr. Evelyn began his relationship with NEP as a Consultant and was recently appointed to the official role of Chief Financial Officer. Committed to service above self, he is currently the Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of Liguanea Plains. Mr. Evelyn has over 22 years’ post-ACCA qualification.
Samantha Ray, Executive Vice President, Marketing
Samantha Ray started her career in Marketing in 2009 as Marketing Officer – Senior Supervisor at Honey Bun (1982) Limited. Her marketing experience includes consumer research, sourcing and applying relevant market trends for successful execution of marketing initiatives. Since 2011, Ms. Ray has been employed to the Norbrook group, where her main focus has been execution of key marketing initiatives for Mailpac Services. Ms. Ray’s most notable achievements to date relate to her involvement in the group’s expansion projects outside of the Caribbean, primarily Ghana. She was recently appointed to the role of Executive Vice President, Marketing for NEP. Her role will involve development and execution of marketing initiatives across the group. Ms. Ray graduated with a B.Sc. in Psychology and Human Resources from the University of the West Indies.
Candice Kerr, Executive Vice President, Business Development
Ms. Kerr has had a long career in the logistics industry, starting in 1997 as a key member of the management team at Airpak Express Limited. Her roles included IT Manager and Special Projects & Training Manager. Upon acquisition of Airpak Express by Norbrook Caribbean Investment Company (NCIC) in December 2010, Ms. Kerr was appointed to the role of General Manager where she remained for two (2) years. Her experience in analysis, process development and documentation resulted in her later being appointed to the role of Group Business Development Manager for NCIC in 2013. Most recently, Ms. Kerr was appointed to the role of Executive Vice President, Business Development for NEP. Her specific responsibilities include business planning, involvement in strategic planning and execution of growth initiatives. Ms. Kerr completed a Diploma in Computer Studies from the University of Technology, Jamaica, and is currently pursuing an MBA with University of Liverpool. She is also a certified Technical Writer.
Tamika Brown-Kirby, Executive Vice President, Human Resources
Mrs. Brown-Kirby has over ten (10) years of broad-based experience in accounting and professional administration, including recruiting/talent management, payroll, workers compensation and benefits, training and development, records management and HR policy development & compliance. She also has key experience in department start-up, high-growth operations and restructuring. In 2004, she joined North Jamaica Conference and filled the roles of Accountant, Bursar and Administrative Assistant. She later moved on to Wheels & Wheels Auto Brokers in 2009, where she worked as Junior Accountant and Executive Assistant. Since joining the NEP team in 2012, Mrs. Brown-Kirby’s key achievement has been reformation of the group’s employee evaluation process to achieve alignment with the goals and objectives of the group.
Her most recent appointment is to the role of Executive Vice President, Human Resources for NEP. Her responsibilities will include providing human resources and administrative support for all subsidiaries within the group. Mrs. Brown-Kirby holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Northern Caribbean University.
