Experienced Investment Team
Norbrook is managed by Khary Robinson and his team of transactional and strategic advisors. The team has managed various companies over the past seven years and are highly regarded entrepreneurs in the region. The Company will also leverage the tenured investment and operational expertise of an exceptional group of senior advisors, operators and private equity partners, which provides Norbrook with a unique competitive advantage, from deal sourcing and evaluation to operational management and exit opportunities.

Minimal Competition / Proprietary Deal Sourcing
The lack of private equity competition in the Caribbean provides NCIC with a unique opportunity to acquire companies at fair valuations. Due to the lack of an unsecured lending market, the tendency for larger corporations to focus on organic growth and the lack of a formal private equity presence, Norbrook will be able to gain exclusive access to owner-operators in need of strategic and financial capital resources that are unavailable elsewhere. The search process is also faster in the Caribbean, given the relatively smaller size of the region’s private sector and the direct access to the region’s entrepreneurs.

Ability to Add Value
Norbrook and its Advisors have the necessary intellectual capital and resources to effectively manage and grow middle-market Caribbean companies, providing value-added guidance in various critical areas as company strategy, customer access, cost reduction, add-on acquisitions, recruiting executives, financing and exit opportunities. The team is made up of highly regarded entrepreneurs and investors that will leverage a proven competence for management, a thorough understanding of the local business sector, and a deep understanding of ‘first-world’ and ‘emerging markets’ investment strategies. This bodes well with our overall strategy of partnering with skilled managers to create better business platforms poised for superior growth. In all cases, we aim to unlock significant value through the deployment of strategic resources or initiatives.

International Expansion Opportunity
Given the international exposure and network available to Norbrook and its Advisors, we believe that there is a significant opportunity to acquire well positioned Caribbean assets and expose their products and services to the broader global market. By continually communicating with international partners, Norbrook will be better apt to evaluate export opportunities than the current managers of these regional assets. Additionally, Norbrook will leverage its US-based company (Norbrook Capital Management, LLC) to qualify as a minority owned entity (“MBE”) in the United States and gain preferred access to capital and contracts from government entities and Fortune 1000 clients.

Investment Partners
The Managing Partners have developed a preferred relationship with strategic investment firms and companies that may, from time to time, evaluate and invest with us on opportunities. These entities have tenured investment and operational expertise and will enable Norbrook to opportunistically pursue larger transactions. These entities range from Grace Kennedy (Jamaica’s largest conglomerate) to Marion Equity Partners and APC Partners (US-based private equity funds).
